The Dean’s team at the Faculty of Chemistry reaffirms its commitment to quality, excellence and the continuous improvement of the faculty and, in particular, of the degree programmes it offers, as well as the importance of implementing a strategy developed in a participatory and collaborative manner, taking into account the faculty’s context and the main challenges for the future.
The Faculty’s Strategic Development Programme is structured, in line with the University of Vigo’s Strategic Plan (2021–2026), around five key strategic pillars born of the spirit of service and improvement that must characterise an institution that generates and disseminates knowledge and which, ultimately, serves the public. The education provided, the university’s relationship with society, research and knowledge transfer, the organisation of its own resources, and the people who make up the university are the five channels through which its vital essence flows and which represent what it can offer to society as a whole.
