The Diploma Supplement is a document which adds information to the official diploma in order to increase the transparency in the different official degrees in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and to facilitate the academic and professional recognition

The Diploma Supplement, as an instrument to provide more information to the prospective recruiter of the person with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, will be issued by the corresponding university if the interested person requests so.

Content

Unified and personalized information on each university degree, on the studies completed, the obtained results, the professional and personal skills acquired and the level of this degree in the national system of higher education.

Specifically, according to the model developed by the European Commission, the European Council and the UNESCO/CEPES (the European Centre for Higher Education) it should include the following information:

  • Student’s details
  • Information on the degree
  • Information on the degree level
  • Information on the content and the results obtained
  • Information on the degree feature
  • Additional information
  • Certification of the supplement
  • Information on the national higher education system
