The Faculty of Chemistry designed a Quality Guarantee System (QGS) which was approved on July 11, 2009, and the Agency for Quality Assurance in the Galician University System (ACSUG) certified on April 26, 2010, that the QGS was designed according to the guidelines in the programmes FIDES-AUDIT (Certificate Number 50/10).
Subsequently, on 25 June 2018, the ACSUG certified the implementation of the centre’s QMS in accordance with the guidelines set out in the FIDES-AUDIT Programme.
More recently, on 4 April 2024, ACSUG issued a favourable re-certification report on the implementation of the QMS at the Faculty of Chemistry, valid until 2029 (Certificate Nº 05/24).
The Quality Committee, chaired by the centre’s Dean, is the responsible body for the planning of the tasks related with the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Guarantee System.
